Class Overview
Kids Martial Arts (Gold Coast Kwondo Kids) classes are designed for children 3.5 to 6 years old with the emphasis on fun, concentration, athleticism, strength building, discipline, respect, character building and anti-bulling. Our aim at Baekjul Black Belt Academy is to give the best tuition in Martial Arts and everyday life skills to your child to help them develop in to strong confident young boys and girls.
Kids Martial Arts (Gold Coast Kwondo Kids) classes are based around a number of Martial Arts including Children’s Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Karate, Submission Grappling, Mixed Martial Arts and Self Defence. Therefore the students and their parents can make a more informed choice as to which Martial Art they may wish to study as they mature.
The students learn their skills through fun Martial Arts games courses and drills; such as wrestling, striking, kicking, pad/bag and partner drills, a training manual is provided for both theory and practical grading requirements. Every three months a grading is held for kids Martial Arts (Gold Coast Kwondo Kids) at the academy allowing students to move up a belt level thus reinforcing the child’s achievements. This combination has positive effects on self-esteem which will shine through in all areas of a child’s life.
Students who undertake Kids Martial Arts (Gold Coast Kwondo Kids) classes will show improvement in the following area: Concentration, self-esteem, confidence, discipline, and respect. Punctuality, presentation, mannerisms, personal hygiene, healthy eating and life style are also important values which are taught and addressed on a daily basis in Kids Martial Arts (Gold Coast Kwondo Kids) classes. Dealing with peer group pressure, making the right choices and understanding how to react in a potential bullying situation are all integrated into classes. Kids Martial Arts (Gold Coast Kwondo Kids) classes are run by internationally recognized instructors, which are all blue card holders. Our staff aims to inspire the students to continue their practice and to achieve even higher goals.
Students are offered the opportunity to compete in competitions both local and nationally, if the student and their parents wish them to compete at the highest levels.
